Annie Murtagh-Monks is a casting director, acting coach & lecturer who has helped cast a large number of feature films and TV series shot in Western Australia since 1993, including Rabbit Proof Fence, Japanese Story and most recently the feature film Drift. Annie founded Perth Actors Collective in 1991 and co-founded and ran PAC Screen Workshops which have helped to train actors and directors since 1992. In 2005, Annie founded PAC Script Lab which are bi monthly rehearsed readings of WA feature film scripts. She co-founded the non-profit Association of Screen Professionals Inc for those working in the industry and in 2014 co-founded and is chair of the WA Chapter of Women in Film & TV. Annie recently completed a 3 year contract at FTI (Film & Television Institute) Director of Skills & Engagement. She is treasurer and a member of the national executive of the Casting Guild of Australia.
